Something big is coming to Cleveland!
On Thursday, June 4th at 10:00 AM, Cleveland Public Schools will proudly host the grand opening and ribbon cutting of a brand-new Fitness Court® at the CimTel Trail, located at the corner of Swan and Crestview. This is more than just a new addition to campus—it’s a celebration of community, health, and what happens when local people step up in a national way.
A National Campaign, Built Right Here at Home
Through a powerful partnership with the National Fitness Campaign and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma, Cleveland is joining a growing movement to make free, high-quality fitness accessible to everyone.
This would not have been possible without our local community.
The City of Cleveland, American Heritage Bank, Blue Sky Bank, Cimarron Telecommunications, and Cleveland Schools came together to bring this opportunity directly to our citizens. This isn’t just a piece of equipment—it’s a symbol of what’s possible when a town invests in itself.
What to Expect at the Event
The grand opening will feature:
- ✂️ Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
- 💪 Live demonstrations of the Fitness Court®
- 📱 Opportunities to learn about the free Fitness Court App
- 👟 A chance for everyone to step on the court and try it out
Designed for ages 14 and up, the Fitness Court® uses seven simple stations and bodyweight exercises to provide a full workout for all fitness levels. Whether you’re just getting started or looking for a new challenge, this space was built for you.
More Than a Fitness Court—A Gift Back to the Community
At Cleveland Public Schools, we believe schools should serve as the heart of the community. This project is just that—a way to give back to the people who have continuously supported our students, our staff, and our vision.
With 24/7 public access on the CimTel Trail, this court becomes a shared space where:
- Families can connect
- Friends can exercise together
- Individuals can focus on mental and physical wellness
It’s about creating healthier lives—and stronger connections.
Local People, Lasting Impact
This project proves something powerful: you don’t have to be in a major city to be part of something national.
Cleveland is now one of the early communities in Oklahoma helping lead this effort—setting the tone for what’s possible when local leadership, strong partnerships, and community pride come together.
Every sponsor, every partner, and every resident plays a role in that success.
Join Us
We invite everyone—students, families, staff, and community members—to come be part of this exciting moment.
