“Building Futures: Exploring Vocational Trades at CHS”

These courses are available to any current 8th grader planning for high school or any 9th–11th grader returning to CHS or considering continuing their high school career here. Some courses may require you to take a pre-requisite.

At Cleveland High School, we are committed to providing our students with the best possible opportunities for success beyond graduation. Whether they choose to enroll in higher education, enlist in the military, or enter the workforce, we strive to equip every senior with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive.

As a rural school, we’ve made incredible strides in expanding our coursework to include a wide range of educational opportunities. From vocational trades and hands-on technology to arts and production, we are continuously growing our programs to meet the evolving needs of our students and community.

To showcase these opportunities, our very own production class has created a series of video commercials highlighting the dynamic programs Cleveland High School has to offer. These videos not only celebrate our expanding curriculum but also demonstrate the impressive skills of our students in media production.

Stay tuned as we take you inside our vocational trades, hands-on technology, and arts and production programs—where learning meets real-world experience!

Construction trades use small projects around campus and in the future small storage sheds outfitted with electricity, water, and plumbing. Get involved on the ground up in making our campus and community better.
Travel the state, and sometimes the country. Learn the basics that create the backbone of our country. Join our tradition rich Vocational Agriculture program. This course is the gateway to leadership, communications, and the always popular Ag Power where students learn welding and shop class basics.
For decades Ag Power has equipped the community with talented welders and tradesmen. It is no different now. The program is expanding with updated equipment.
If construction trades isn’t your ‘jam’. Find yourself in the hands on world of health careers which is anchored in our basic science courses.
