A Personalized Path to Success
The Cleveland Personalized Academic Center (CPAC) provides an alternative pathway for students who benefit from a more individualized and flexible approach to education. Designed to serve students who qualify for Oklahoma’s Alternative Education options, CPAC focuses on helping every learner overcome barriers, earn their diploma, and build the skills needed for lifelong success.
What Makes CPAC Unique
CPAC has evolved from a small blended learning program into a dynamic, student-centered environment that balances online coursework with in-person support. Students complete their core academic credits online while earning elective credits through hands-on instruction from CPAC teachers.
This year, CPAC expanded its staff and opened more student spots, ensuring greater access and more individualized attention. The center also received additional funding to enhance its life skills curriculum, providing students with opportunities to learn practical, independent-living skills—such as cooking, managing appliances, and preparing for adult responsibilities.
Beyond the Classroom
At CPAC, learning extends far beyond academics. Students participate in monthly volunteer projects, including service at the local food pantry and the school thrift shop. They also take part in career exploration field trips—recent visits have included Wild Country Meats, with upcoming trips planned to Indian Electric Cooperative and OSU IT in Okmulgee. Along the way, students build community and friendships by celebrating birthdays and holidays together in a welcoming, family-like atmosphere.
Support That Makes a Difference
CPAC teachers serve as mentors and advocates, working closely with students to ensure they receive the academic, social, and emotional support they need. Staff collaborate with other educators, health professionals, and state agencies to connect students with additional resources when needed.
Our Mission
The mission of the Cleveland Personalized Academic Center is to empower students through flexible learning, strong relationships, and real-world readiness. For many, CPAC is not just a pathway to graduation—it’s a bridge to a brighter future.
