FOR THE LAND
With new grass and new bleachers in place, we wanted to breathe even more life into this part of our campus. Our attention turned to the locker room wall—a focal point of our stadium.
We wanted this stadium to represent more than football, soccer, band, or cheer. It should be a reflection of all of Cleveland.
We dreamed of something that would connect us, honor our roots, and remind us of what we stand for. From the oil pumps that fuel our economy and history… to our very own Mr. Heisman, Billy Vessels… to an iconic Pioneer Day photo representing western heritage and patriotic pride… to the generations who have “cruised” Main Street on Friday nights… to the Cleveland brickwork found in homes, businesses, and streets… to a symbol of our community’s storyteller… to the Arkansas River, flowing through our community and connecting our past, present, and future.
This vision became a mural—a work of art that is more than paint on a wall. It is a letter of gratitude to our town, carrying a title that speaks to who we are: For the Land.
🎨 Meet the Artist Behind the Mural 🎨
Designing and painting the For the Land mural was the work of area muralist BaileeTheKid – Bailee Green, a native of Sapulpa who was just as excited as we were to bring our vision to life.
Bailee didn’t just paint—she teamed up with High School Art teacher Mrs. Kemp, and poured into our students. Together they hosted a two-day mural camp where students learned design and painting techniques, then rolled up their sleeves to help create the mural itself. Now, those same students are ready to take their new skills and creativity into other projects across our schools.
The result? A mural that tells our story—created with our students.
Thank you, Bailee, for your artistry, your heart, and for helping us make this vision a reality. 🖤🧡

FOR THE LAND
This mural is more than paint on a wall—it’s a letter of gratitude to our town. And its title—For the Land—is more than a motto. It’s who we are.
Our students give their all for the land.
They compete in the extreme heat—for the land.
They march, cheer, and play loud and proud—for the land
They volunteer at community events—for the land.
They rehearse lines, practice instruments, and perfect routines—for the land.
They push through late-nights and early mornings in the barn—for the land.
Our staff shows up for the land.
They stay after school to help a student master a skill—for the land.
They coach, sponsor, and mentor beyond their job description—for the land.
They drive buses before sunrise and after sunset—for the land.
They keep our facilities safe, clean, and ready—for the land.
Why? Because we see you, our community, and everything you do for the land.
You run local businesses that employ and support our community—for the land.
You organize parades, festivals, and celebrations—for the land.
You cheer the loudest and believe the strongest—for the land
You drill. You serve. You raise. You build. You support. You encourage.
You work hard for the land—for CleveLAND.
We thank you.
Our For the Land mural is a symbol of our shared pride, grit, and heart. May it remind you of all you’ve done, all you give, and all you are…
We thank you, Cleveland for your support! We hope you enjoy the new locker room wall.
It is—for the land.
