Cleveland Softball: Closing Out the Season

The 2025 season was one of growth and grit for Cleveland Softball. Under first-year head coach Lisa Moss, the Tigers laid the foundation for a new era of hard work, resilience, and pride in our program.

This year, 16 high school players and 14 middle school players suited up for Cleveland, building depth and excitement for the future. One of the season’s highlights came in an unforgettable battle with the defending Class 4A State Champions, North Rock Creek. Our girls had them on the ropes, pushing the champs all the way to the final out before falling in a heartbreaking 10–9 finish in the bottom of the 7th inning.

But beyond the scoreboard, the real victory was in the way this team grew. They learned to play hard, to compete every pitch, and to never give up. They built confidence, pushed through tough moments, and showed what it means to represent Cleveland with pride.

Coach Moss shared:

“What I love the most is how hard this team competes and that they never give up! This year’s group did an excellent job of changing how Cleveland Softball is perceived. I am so proud of the legacy that this group of seniors is leaving behind, and I can’t wait to build on the momentum they started.”

The future of Cleveland Softball is bright — and we couldn’t be prouder of the heart and determination these athletes showed all season long. 💜🥎🐅
