A/B Schedule Continues for High and Middle Schools in January

Middle School and High School Modified Schedule

Dates: January 6 – January 29

In light of the expected travel over Christmas Break and the increasing COVID-19 cases in our community, Cleveland Schools has made the difficult decision to continue with the A/B schedule for Middle School and High School through the end of January.   Again, this will help students to be able to socially distance as much as possible, and drastically reduce the number of quarantined students in the event contact tracing needs to be done.

Our greatest desire is to bring ALL students back to school as soon as possible.  We will reconsider a full move back to campus learning during the last week of January. We will keep you updated.

The Intermediate and Primary schools  will be back on campus as normal.

MLK Day (1/18) Adjustment

Due to MLK day on Monday, this week only, Group A is to come to school on Wednesday and their usual Thursday. Other days remain the same (Group B Tuesday/Friday).

Breakfast/Lunch Take Home for High School Modified Schedule (1/6-1/29).

Students will be able to take 3 meals home with them on their first day of school for the week. Group A will take home 3 meals on Monday. Group B will take home 3 meals on Tuesday.

Extracurriculars:

All sports, band, choir, Ag, and other extracurricular activities will continue.  On Distance Learning days, students are still allowed to come participate in extracurriculars.  However, on your Distance Learning Day transportation will not be provided and those absences will not be held against you.

Votech at Drumright Students with A/B Schedule

AM Tech students on their DL days will NOT be given transportation home from tech. PM Tech students on their DL will NOT be given transportation to the tech bus. Votech is aware of our transition and will allow students to complete coursework at home on their Distance Learning days, if they are unable to get to Tech.
