Veteran’s Day Information

Veteran’s Day Parade

Wednesday, Nov. 11th

10:00 a.m.

Starts at Arlington Park

We would like to honor our local veterans in a reverse parade on Nov. 11th.  Veterans and families will meet at Arlington Park where the Cleveland MS and HS choir will sing a tribute in their honor.  Afterward, the students in the Cleveland Public Schools will be waiting on the sidewalk in front of their school as the veterans and their families participate in a drive through parade led by our School Resource Officer, and his Cleveland Tiger car.  To conclude our parade, the Tiger Pride band will also play a tribute to our veterans in front of the high school.

If you are a veteran and would like to participate in our reverse parade, please contact Mr. Craig Ellis at Cleveland Middle School. 918-358-2210 and choose Option 3.   We also invite the community to help us celebrate the Veterans by lining Pawnee Street or the Wichita and Gilbert Intersection to appreciate our veterans.

We make a concerted effort every year to celebrate our community veterans, and educate our students on the importance of honoring those who have served to protect our freedoms. In light of today’s current climate we are going to change up our usual presentation and incorporate more areas in our community and hopefully have more veterans attend.
