       STUDENTS PLANNING TO GO TO COLLEGE NEED TO TAKE THIS TEST FOR        ADMISSIONS ELIGIBILITY.

      

       SCHOLARSHIPS:

 

     An excellent resource for searching for scholarships is  www.fastweb.com. This site lists more  

      than 600,000 scholarships.  Students will need to complete a profile which will help match       

      the student with possible scholarship opportunities.

 

     Toyota Community Scholars:

      Toyota Community Scholars is seeking one student from the Senior class to compete for 100    

       scholarships valued between $10,000 to $20,000 over 4 years.  While they are seeking a

       candidate who has an outstanding academic record other distinguishing characteristics will

       be considered.  A particular interest is in the contribution of community service.  The nomi-

       nee from our school must have initiated or be actively involved in a service program   

       addressing a school or community need.  Deadline for CHS is Nov. 15.

 

        OSSAA Scholarships:

        Criteria for  application involves

        1)  minimum GPA 3.5 or higher

        2)  Minimum ACT score of 24

         3)   Senior athlete participating in at least one OSSAA athletic program.

          Football deadline is Dec. 3

          Volleyball deadline is Dec.3
