Art 2

The class will be drawing a faces. They will need to draw a 1/4, 1/2 & a full face drawing.

The students will start work on their first sculpture . The work will be in the round with high and low relief. First the students will need to draw multiple sketches of the work from all different perspectives. I will need to ok their drawings before they are to start the construction. The student will need to show how they are to build it and what materials they are going to use. The attention to the detail and how the finial drawing looks compared to the drawings will bases of the grade.

 

Art 3&4a

The class will be working on their silkscreen prints. They will need to turn in 10 prints labeled and    matted. Next the class will start work on their mosaics.

They will be graded on completion , original design and quality of work

 

Pottery 1

The class will be making a slab cup, and a slab box w/ lid.

They will be graded on completion , quality of work and glazing.

 

Pottery 2

The class will be working on a slump bowl with a hand stenciled polychromatic glaze.

The class will be working on a slump bowl with a foam glaze.
