6th Grade Math:                                  During the month of January we will work on concepts to help us prepare for fractions.

6th Grade English: We will work on conjunctions and interjections in January.  Also, we will spend some time on punctuation.  Our spelling lessons will cover lessons 17 –20.

7th grade English:  We will work on conjunctions and interjections in January.  Also, we will spend some time on punctuation.  Our spelling lessons will cover lessons 17 –20.

Math classes are required to keep a folder with all assignments, tests, and notes.  They will be used as a grade at the end of the nine-week period.  Students need to have their notebook, paper, pencil and pen everyday for class.

English classes are required to have a 3-ring binder.  This is where they will keep grammar assignments, spelling, notes, writing projects, and their “word of the day” entries.  They are required to bring this binder, along with paper, pencil and pen to class daily.

All math students should have a copy of their textbooks to keep at home for the year.  We have a classroom set that we use at school.
