Careers Pre-Algebra
Make Your Career Dreams Come True Personality surveys and questions are given. Discovery of types of careers that match well
with personalities. Dream catchers are made to stress the theme of
dreams can come true with career options. Different methods are used to discover the
career clusters that best suit the students likes and talents. Career Search computer program finds the top
20 careers matched to each student.
Information is printed out. Films on Fridays covering different careers. 7th
Grade Pre-Algebra How do
you display data effectively? The students
are learning which display is the best choice for data. Stem-Leaf, Line, Bar, Circle are the favorites and then the Box whisker are plots
that will be drawn and analyzed. A
test will be given before the holidays. 8th
Grade Pre-Algebra Solving
equations is being worked using 1st the addition and subtraction
properties. Next the multiplication
and division properties will be demonstrated and then graphed. Graphing is a covered objective on the
standardized test and a big part of algebra. A test will be given as a final before
the holiday.
