2007-08 SCHOLARSHIPS

• The Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship is available from Mrs. Brown for those seniors planning to major in the medical profession.  Due April 30.
• Rotary Scholarship application can be picked up from Mrs. Brown.  They are due April 30 to her.
• Dwight Woodrell Memorial Scholarship application is in Mrs. Brown’s office. Due April 30.
• Seniors planning to major in education, see Mrs. Brown for an application for the Kappa Kappa Iota scholarship award of $750 per semester, renewable each semester.
• The Frances Koop Parsons/AT&T Pioneers Memorial Scholarship application is in Mrs. Brown’s office. It is $500 scholarship for students with a 3.0 GPA and a family income that does not exceed $50,000.
• Senior Girls: The Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Scholarship application is available at the Cleveland Anerican. The scholarship can be used for college or post secondary vocational training.
• Cameron University in Lawton is offering their Cameron Gold scholarship for those who qualify for OHLAP. Call 1-888-454-7600.
• Hebron Masonic Lodge #215 has 3-$500 scholarships. To apply for this write a 1 page essay. The subject is What are you going to do with your life after graduation. The essay needs to be mailed to Hebron Masonic Lodge #215, P.O. Box 536, Cleveland, OK 74020 by May 5. Make sure you include your phone number and address so they can notify you if you win.
• Seniors going to OU who are going to pursue a degree in science, engineering or mathematics need to see Mrs. Brown for a great scholarship opportunity.
• The Tulsa Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is awarding $1000 scholarship to those seniors planning to earn a degree in engineering, biological science or physical science. See Mrs. Brown
• TCC is offering a scholarship for students interested in completing a degree in Early Childhood Eduation or Infant/Toddler Development or one of three of certificate programs in Child Development. See Mrs. Brown for application.
• Connors State College Presidential Leadership Scholarship. See Mrs. Brown.

• TCC Tuition Waiver Scholarship. See Mrs. Brown for application, deadline April 3 to TCC.
• OSSAA—Athletes must have GPA of 3.5 or higher, ACT score of 24. Baseball, Soccer, and Track are due April 14. Mrs. Brown has this application in her office.
• Create-A-Greeting Card Scnolarship. Go to www.gallerycollection.com/scholarship.htm.
• Seniors pursing a degree in Engineering at OU, OSU, TU, OCU, or ORU may apply at wwww.ospe.org.
• Oklahoma Burglar and Fire Alarm Association Scholarships. Seniors whose parent is an active duty police or fire personnel or work for the Oklahoma alarm industry. Go to okbfaa@cox.net for application or see Mrs. Brown.

OTHER SENIOR INFORMATION

• ACT Test Dates are in February, April, and June. Watch the bulletin for registration deadlines. If you need to borrow a calculator see Mrs. Brown or one of the math teachers to check one out the week of the test. I have worksheets for the programs that you can use on the ACT in my office. If you qualify for a fee waiver (those on free and reduced lunch, those that belong to Talent Search or Upward Bound, or those that are in foster care or a ward of the state of Oklahoma).
