Our school calendar allows us to transition any cancellation of on-campus classes to a distance learning day. Such circumstances could be; inclement weather, water line breaks, or viral spread.

As we enter Fall/Winter in Oklahoma, this scenario will include any future “snow day.” In the event we close school because of bad weather, High School and Middle School students will need to check Google Classroom and their email for assignments. Students in the Primary and Intermediate will be notified of their assignments by their teacher via Remind.

If, by chance, power outages are common during a weather closure we will not count that day as a distance learning day. It will be counted as a traditional snow day closure that will be made up at a later date.

School closures due to weather will be announced as soon as possible after a decision has been made. Notifications will be made by text message, social media announcements, website posts, and local news services.
